Louann Briggs Larsen
Louann Briggs Larsen comes to the Plainfield Grand Rogue Historical Society almost by birthright. Born and raised in Plainfield Township, Louann has served on the Plainfield Township Historical Preservation Advisory Committee since 2012. Louann’s parents, Donna and Wendell Briggs, served on the same committee for many, many years. Her parent donated land in 1976 to Plainfield Charter Township in order to give the Hyser House a permanent home.
Louann has served as past President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Docent for the Plainfield Township Historical Preservation Advisory Committee, and now serves as Treasurer for the new Plainfield Grand Rogue Historical Society.
Louann has owned her own advertising and promotional products business in the township, Sunrise Specialties, for over 17 years.
